The Sydney Salsa Congress has now grown into the SYDNEY LATIN FESTIVAL and will be even BIGGER than ever before! Salsa Connection has always represented Adelaide well, on stage, off stage, in workshops and on the social floor... next year will once again show Australia that Adelaide is a force to be reckoned with! Salsa Connection's New Social Dancing Night - "Tapas Nights" - Every Thursday!
Adelaide's Salsa Connection Dance Studio has teamed up with Tapas on Hindley to present to you "Tapas Nights", every Thursday night at Tapas on Hindley!
"Tapas Nights" is now the place to be each Thursday night! Adelaide now has another great venue to groove the night away... come and practice your cool moves, socialise and just generally have fun! Being so close to the weekend, there's no reason why you can't come out, enjoy a drink or two and dance the night away with great people, to awesome music!
Tapas on Hindley is the place for ongoing Salsa Classes and weekly Social dancing, with Salsa Classes running 7.00 - 8.00, then 8.00 - 9.00 and social daing from 9.00pm onwards! So, come and learn Salsa, get some funky moves and then practice the night away! The atmosphere will be fantastic, with students, dancers and instructors alike, all grooving away together to some great tunes! Salsa, Cha-Cha, Bachata, Zouk... it'll all be there!

Salsa Connection's 4th Annual Christmas Picnic in the Park! Sunday 18th December 2011!
Each year SCDS gets together for a fun, relaxing day in the park!
The beautiful Botanic Park is perfect for just lounging around, chatting, eating, drinking, playing frisbee,
running around with the kids... or Kevin... and just generally having a lovely relaxed day in the sun!
Not far to travel, kid and puppy friendly, no large expenses, close to home and loads of fun! Just the way we like it!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! This includes your partners, friends & family, dancers and non dancers... even if you are from other studios too!!
If you want to join us you are more than welcome - as always! :-)
Yes, we'll have some music playing with some portable speakers... some people get up and dance, some don't.
It will NOT all be Salsa/latin music played all day, don't worry!! :-P

and people MAY or MAY NOT have to get up and boogie! Glass of wine and all!)

Our usual spot is in the South Eastern corner of Botanic Park, just as you enter Plane Tree Drive, but in a bit to stay away from Hackney Road.
We will have a large white Marquee set up plus keep an eye out for the SCDS Banner. Ring the mobile listed below if you get lost! :)

If you can only pop past for a few minutes, fine! It's a very relaxed day and you can come and go as you please! :-)

• SMILES! • BYO Food - BBQ, Salad, Wine, Cheese, Nibbles, etc (plus own esky) • BYO Plates, cups and cutlery! • Picnic Blanket &/or chairs • Usual Safety equipment - Hats, sunnies, sunscreen, etc • Frisbee's, Soccer balls, footballs, Vortex, Twister • Partners, friends, family, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc - even if they are not dancers, they are welcome! • Kids, puppy dogs, other various pets. • PLENTY OF WATER - We will have some available there, but please remember your own too.

drinking some wine, eating some cheese, playing frisbee and having a very lovely day with you all! :)
