International Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) from Canada, JAIME FARFAN is hitting Adelaide!!!
Jaime is coming to Adelaide to run new Instructor Training Courses on Sat 26th June & Sun 27th June, so we have booked him in for a heart pumping, fun, exciting party-like Master Class on FRIDAY 25th JUNE!!!
That's right - come and get your groove on with one of Zumba's top ZES,
as he takes you through an hour of the most fun you will have while exercising!
Jaime has taught all over the world and has featured in many of the Zumba DVD's, conventions,
and has even been on TV, helping the world get into Zumba!
Fun, cheeky, exciting, motivating - this guy has all of the qualities it takes to give you
a great time on the dance floor!
Jaime (pronounced "Hi-me") was born and raised in Cali, Colombia and from an early
age developed a love for music.
Growing up in a Latin country gave him a love and appreciation of the culture.
For over 8 years, fitness has been a huge part of his life. One of Jaime’s missions in life,
as he describes it,
is “to try to make every person a little happier after coming in contact with me”
and with Zumba he found a way to do that in a larger scale.
"I hope to bring many smiles to the faces of all those I will have the pleasure to meet."

Evolved from Lambada – only much more stylised and elegant – Zouk is smooth, romantic and hypnotic with long, fluent, wave-like movements of two bodies moving as one. Zouk music is mellow and beautiful, with an irresistible dance beat and a strong bass line.
SCDS is renowned for giving its students the best instruction possible in all of their dance styles and Zouk is no different. So, we have decided to team up with ADELAIDE ZOUK and bring you one of Adelaide's leading male Zouk experts, SHAUN WILLIAMS, to teach you this beautiful dance. Shaun has worked closely with SCDS for years now as a high level dancer, performing in our Pro Teams, assisting with teaching in classes... and now has branched out to specialise in this hypnotic form of dance.
So, between SCDS & Adelaide Zouk, we promise to bring you a fun, exciting & dynamic structured syllabus Zouk course, focusing on smooth graceful shapes, beautiful technicalities and style, with simple logical structure.

Pasty (from Holland) is bringing his Zouk Tour to Adelaide on JULY 31st just in time for
Salsa Connection's 4th Birthday Party, so SCDS is running a ZOUK BOOTCAMP throughout July!
This way you'll be able to cover off a complete Level 1 Course by the time the
Zouk Tour/ Birthday Party is on and hit the floor with all the other Zoukeiros and Zoukeiras!
Our Zouk Level 1 Course Syllabus covers the basic steps, movements and the rhythm of Zouk.
It will include a lot of partner work, giving you an excellent understanding of the basic steps,
movement and style to allow you to confidently take your Zouk on to the dance floor!
***************************************************************** Please Note: 1:: Please note that even though these times and dates remain fixed,
they may be subject to change at the studio's/ instructor's discretion.
Full payment must be made prior to course commencement unless previously dicussed.
2:: New 8 Week Level 1 and Level 2 Courses will start the following Monday after
the Level 1 Intensive class finishes. Students will need to have completed
Level 1 Zouk with SCDS (or equivalent course with another school)
before
being able to move up to into Zouk Level 2. This creates a consistent level of standards
for the basics and fundamentals, ensuring all participants involved get maximum
learning and enjoyment from their appropriate course.

Salsa Connection's New Salsa Beginners Classes Now at Tapas on Hindley!
"Tapas Nights" is now the place to be each Thursday night to learn Salsa and have fun!
Grab your friends and come groove with Adelaide's best Latin Dance School, Salsa Connection Dance Studio, as they teach you all you need to know to get yourself out and having fun on the dance floor!
The Course runs an 8 week syllabus... this means if you miss a lesson or a cool move, you can always pick it up again next time around with a casual lesson, so you'll never miss out!
And the cool thing is that once you have finished your classes, there's an awesome bar and atmosphere for your to hang around and join in the social dancing after classes! Students, instructors, dancers - everyone will be there to dance with you!
Adelaide now has another great venue to groove the night away... come and practice your cool moves, socialise and just generally have fun! And being so close to the weekend, there's no reason why you can't come out, enjoy a drink or two and dance the night away with great people, to awesome music!
Cost:
8 week Course is only $120, or only $220 per coulple!

Definitely! These classes will fill up quickly, so contact us early to book your spot!
AND you'll need to get there 15 minutes early to register and pay for your class! Don't be late!
What is there to do after classes?
Well, our regular Salsa Classes will be followed by Adelaide's newest night of Social Dancing!
So, we have Salsa Level 2 from 7.00pm till 8.00pm, then Salsa Level 1 from 8.00pm till 9.00pm... Then... Hot Social Dancing from 9.00pm onwards!
Come and learn Salsa, get some funky moves and then practice the night away! The atmosphere will be fantastic, with students, dancers and instructors alike, all grooving away together to some great tunes! Salsa, Cha-Cha, Bachata, Zouk... it'll all be there!

After our awesome Launch Party, Tapas on Hindley will be the place for ongoing Salsa Classes and weekly Social dancing, with Salsa Classes running 7.00 - 8.00, then 8.00 - 9.00 and social daing from 9.00pm onwards!
